Suitable for toddlers who can chew their own food.
Ingredients
30g butter
1 tablespoon plain flour
1 cup milk
salt, to taste
1/2 cup grated cheese
2 cups cooked macaroni
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Blend in the flour and cook for 1 minute
- Remove from the heat and gradually blend in the milk. Return to the heat and cook, stirring, until the sauce boils and thickens
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Season with salt and stir in the cheese. Mix the macaroni through the sauce and serve
